CPL T20: Caribbean Premier League T20 Started by West Indies Cricket Board(WICB) on July 30th 2013 to 24th August 2013. Total 6 Teams will participate in this tournament Barbados Tridents, Antigua Hawksbills, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel and St Lucia Zouks.

The West Indies Cricket Board organises the Caribbean Premier League (shortened to CPL or CPLT20) Twenty20 cricket tournament annually in the Caribbean. This tournament has been brought into in 2013to replace the Caribbean Twenty20, to developas the premier Twenty20 competition in the Caribbean. As this event is presently sponsored by Limacol, it is formally known as the Limacol CPL.

The plans for the creation of Caribbean Premier League were made public by The West Indies Cricket Board first in September 2012. Subsequently, on December 13, 2012, the WICB further declared that a contract was completed with Ajmal Khan, Founder of Verus International, to finance the league. As per the agreement, the WICB will getsupplementary funding from Verus International towards additional retainer contracts for players. This is besides the 20 annual retainer contracts which are currently funded by the WICB.

The schedule for the 2013 Caribbean Premier League inaugural event is from 29 July to 26 August. The tournament comprises of six franchises. Each franchise has 15 contracted players, including a maximum of four international players and four players under the age of 23. Each team includes one local and one franchise international player. The group stage has 21 matches and each team plays 7 matches. The knockout stage features two semi-finals and a final.
